it makes you think

Have any of you seen "Rise of The Planet of The Apes"?  I was wondering, how well would a mainstream movie do that depicts a not too far distant future in which Women, fed up with patriarchy, male domination, and oppression, reach a determination to take control of society, and decide to do so by using and means available including force?

Force would not be my preferred method, as that sounds too much like what we have now with men and that disgusts me.

The way of women is through nurturing and enabling people to accomplish what they are fitted for. Women have a unique ability to lead and through intuition know what is right.  I mean, don't you agree?  Did not everyone come from women, so what better authority figure is there than women?  I think it would be natural for everyone to work for women, be nurtured by women, and find the world a much more agreeable place.

Oh Miss Sharon, i do not know about the masses but i know sissies would watch. As a life long sissy i know that encouragement would work so much better than force. Why can't sissies be encouraged and accepted - allowed to be fully feminine and submissive? Oh to live in a world where emasculation is a positive - i know i would blossom so. Force - yuk! Encouragement - yeah! sissy michelle

I think force has to be viewed in the appropriate context Maam. As Sun Tzu says in his "art of war" treatise, the greatest victory is one where you win without expending your resources or using explicit force. The "threat of force" along with the "rewards of acquiescence" should combine to bring about the desired outcome. Force can take several forms as well, not necessarily violence and loss of lives etc. - Roger Mont

You are right there are more than one kind of force. Force can be subtle as feather or as violent as the movie portrays. I think the definition Gynarchy uses is much more subtle and nurturing, as women are apt to do. I mean wouldn't men be interested in seeing women happy?

Men should realize that not only should they be interested in seeing women happy, but making women happy will become the primary determinant of their own happiness. Roger Mont

Taking that thought further Maam, it is not enough that men want to see women happy, but should realie that making women happy should be their primary objective, from which all else would follow.

i agree that using violence would be stooping to the level of males, Miss - many's the tall, powerfully strong man brought to his knees by Feminine guile. i eagerly await the quiet revolution, Miss.

cant a woman and a man be happy together. When my wife was happy,I fed off it and craved to please

I think the key here is to please her. That is how you make her happy and isn't that the point?

It did turn into the point. I still cant believe the pleasure I would get when I got something just the way she liked it. Yum! It was love that made me want to please like that. A first love a bit later in life I am finding out

Yes, love is the way. Love makes slaves of lovers, giving us the irresistible desire to please and serve the beloved, to enhance their life and well-being, and to need their approval and love in return. Love also gives us the courage to see, and do, what is most difficult.

Of course, fear of the ultimate punishment in life, being disapproved and rejected by one's beloved, is a helpful corollary.
